Men's Ministries

  FOUNDATIONAL MINISTRIES

Six foundational ministries are located at each level of Men’s Ministries; general,
conference and local. The words “umbrella or foundational” were selected to
illustrate that these ministries cover all levels of Men's Ministries and should
receive priority at each level. Note that at each level it is recommended a
committee and committee chairman be selected to assist in implementing these
ministries.

The six ministries are:

  • Men of Action
  • Royal Rangers Sponsorship
  • Friendship Evangelism
  • Reach 3
  • Pastor's Prayer Partners.
  • Intentionally Making Disciples Download

Notice that each provides areas that are building blocks for Men’s Ministries, e.g.
men at work in a ministry project, support for boys of the church, evangelism, and
missions. See Section III of the Men’s Ministries Chapter Resource Information
Manual.

In addition to the umbrella/foundational ministries, the Local Chapter may be called
to serve in a number of ministry projects. Each of these projects has a pamphlet or
manual that provides additional instructions on the ministry.

                   Mission Statement

Together, we will help present every man with a credible offer of the Gospel,
encourage them to pursue God, and equip them for spiritual service in the home,
church, workplace, community, and world.

Our goals are two-fold:

A. To identify and equip at least one man in every willing Pentecostal Holiness
Church who wants to build a disciple-making ministry to men by the year 2010.
B. Additionally,
(1) that there is a men’s ministry group in every Church,
(2) that these groups will reach out to all men in their church and community,
(3) that every man will be trained and motivated “To offer Christ, and
(4) to make disciples of all men!

Our purposes:

  • To provide masculine Christian fellowship;
  • To inspire, teach, and equip Pentecostal Holiness men to become involved
    in lifestyle evangelism;
  • To create for Pentecostal Holiness men the opportunity to serve by
    challenging, training, and involving them in their gifted ministries under the
    leadership of the pastor;
  • To challenge Pentecostal Holiness men to organize and support activities for
    boys through Royal Rangers;
  • To challenge Pentecostal Holiness men to sponsor and participate in new
    church planting;
  • To organize the Men of Action ministry at the general, conference and local
    levels to reach out to the local church, community, nation, and world in times
    of crises, disaster, and need.
A father was one
day teaching his
little boy what a
Christian should be
like. When the
lesson was
finished, the father
got a question that
he never forgot:
"Father, asked the
boy, "Have I ever
seen one?"
